Hershey's Kisses Aren't for Everyone!

The day started off simple enough, nothing was terribly new with the guys and all were enjoining a day filled with drills and small calls. Nothing too taxing.
One thing was interesting however, and that was that at each time Johnny went to his locker, there was a small Hershey Kiss in there, with a note, explaining that it was from his 'secret admirer!'
This was cute in the morning, and Johnny made no notice of it, he assumed it was Chet playing one of his practical jokes on him. Toward the end of the day though, he was concerned that someone might be entering the station when they were absent, because sometimes the kisses were on put there when no one was in the station.
Worried, Johnny decided to tell the guys, and get their input.
"I think you should call the police pal" suggested the Captain, who was not at all pleased at the possibility of someone breaking into their station in heir absence.
"Ahh Gage, you have an admirer, sooner or later the dog will show herself!" Laughed Chet, who found this all to funny.
Marco and Mike exchanged glances which told Johnny that they agreed with their captain and Roy wasn't sure what to think.
Suddenly, the phone rang. Captain Stanley usually answered it, and today was no different.
"Hi Vince, yes, as a matter of fact we were just thinking of calling you."
"Uh huh, well is this something we should be concerned about, is there anything we can do?"
"OK, if you thin it's really necessary, then lets do it, you have our full cooperation." With that, Captain Stanley hung up the phone.
He turned to his makes and told them about how a person who had once been a problem for Johnny was now an escaped convict, and perhaps she was the one responsible for the messages and gifts.
~~~~~~~~~~
A shiver ran down Johnny's spine at those words, he wracked his brains trying to figure out who this could be.
"Johnny, remember the nurse Karen, whose sister had died and then she tried to poison you by giving you the wrong medication a couple of years ago, and then tried to kill you in your hospital room while you recovered?" Captain Stanley asked.
"Oh God yes, who the hell could forget" Johnny asked incredulously.
"Well, it seems that she has broken out of the psychiatric institute and is officially at large. It is unknown if she is armed, but we can assume that she is dangerous. Vince told me that when we are out on calls, they will occupy the station to see if she enters it, and nab her then.
"Oh man, will this ever end?"
"You sure do attract the weirdo's" Chet offered.
Glares from all of the team save for Johnny met his reaction, no one appreciated this type of humor.
The next call was a quiet and quick one, it was just a garbage disposal which was smoking and simply needed to be unplugged. No big deal. When they returned, they were pleased to see that Vince was true to his word and that many cars were there with lights flashing.
"Off that the lights would flash, I would not think they would want to warn her in advance of their presence, lets get in there and see what happened!" shouter Cap.
Upon quickly disembarking from their rigs, the men walked quickly into the day room, where they found several officers, several officials from the psychiatric institute and Karen in handcufs, literally foaming at the mouth.
"Karen, why?" Johnny had to ask.
'Johnny, don't bother asking, she is incoherent" Vince said sadly.
"What's going to happen to her?" Johnny asked Vince
"She is going back to Shady Pines and she is geeing to be there for a long time. She had a plan in place apparently, if you did not eat one of these kisses, she was going to go to your apartment and lace you r food with what these were laced with. They were laced with cyanide Johnny, you are one lucky man." Vince said
"I don't feel so luckily, not at all."
Roy patted him on the back, he knew what his partner meant Was this nightmare ever geeing to end? If Karen could get out once, she could to it again......
The End
