As the men of Station 51's A Shift changed into their uniforms, they discussed what they had done on their days off.

"Hey Johnny, what did you do on your days off?" Roy asked.

"Tended to the horses, did some maintenance on the house and barn, and relaxed the rest of the time in the new pool I had installed." Johnny answered back, tucking his shirt into his pants and leaning over to tie his work shoes.

"Oh really? Well Joanne and I will need to take the kids over next time we get some time off on a weekend to help cool them off in this heat. It'll be cheaper than having to pay to go to the municipal pool every day, and a lot less crowded,"

"Gage got a pool? Great, now we can start having pool parties there every weekend." Chimmed in a enthusiastic Chet Kelly.

"Oh no you won't Chet!! I still remember the last time you had a party at my place. I'm still recovering from it." John returned

"And the cops are still mad at you also Chet." Roy added.

'What????" Chet started to reply, when Captain Stanley stuck his head in and said "Roll Call Gentlemen."

Johnny, Roy and Chet headed out of the locker room and lined up next to Marco Lopez and Mike Stoker, who were there already.

"Ok Boys, glad to see you're all hear, so i'll make this quick. Roy and Mike, you're hanging hose. Marco, you're cooking. Gage you've got the Dorm. And chet, you're on Latrine Duty. Roy you've got the kitchen and dayroom area also." Captain Stanley said, passing out the cleaning duties.

'Awww Cap-" Chet started to protest, when Captain Stanley said, "Chet I believe you just volunteered to help Roy in the kitchen and dayroom also, when you finish for the next 3 weeks, so it's yours." Captain Stanley said with a stern look.

"Ok Cap." Chet answered dejectedly.

"Now with that cleared up," Captain Stanley continued, "I got some interesting news from HQ that I know you guys would definitely like." He says with a smile.

The 5 men look at each other with raised eyebrows, wondering what it could be.

"Ok, the LA County is going to try a exchange program with the Greek Fire Service to let both country's fire dept's see how they work. Our whole crew/station will be there for 1 month, riding along, assisting, and learning what it's like to work in a different country's fire department. This will happen in 2 months, giving everyone a chance to get everything they need together, like ur passport applied for and received." Capt Stanley said. "Any Questions??"

"Yeah, will we be able to do any sightseeing???" Pipped in Chet

"I'm sure something will be worked in when we get there. Anything Else?? Ok, let's get to work." Capt stanley said, and going to his office.

The men go about doing their routines and duties and discuss what they had just heard.

2 Months Later

The Men of Station 51's A Shift check in at the LAX Airport for their flight that was gonna go direct from Chicago IL where they change planes. As they pass through security, Chet & Johnny set off the metal detectors and get checked over thoroughly.

"Man, Chet and John, what did you guys do?? Sems like they were all over you guys??" Roy said with a grin as they got dressed again.

"Not sure, they must have turned the sensitivity up high. Never had any trouble before." Chet said, with Johnny agreeing and they headed to their gate for their flight.

As they walked down the concourse, they hear a woman scream, they rush over and see a woman standing over a man laying on the ground not moving.

"John, Roy, check him out, Marco try and calm her down, i'll get the paramedics." Capt Stanley said as he had Chet & Mike keep the people who were crowding around back.

Roy took the man's head and checked for a pulse and brathing. Finding nothing, he gave 2 breaths and told Johnny to start CPR.

"Cap, we're gonna need that AED we passed across the hall, be sure to tell them that." Roy said.

"Right, Chet go grab the AED." Cap said.

Chet ran for the cabinet and brought the equipment back, laying at Roy's side and switching with Johnny.

Roy opened the case and placed the pads on the patient's chest and hooked it up. The machine immediately analyzed the patient's heart rhythm, and advised a shock to be delivered.

Roy pushed the button and delivered a shock as the LAFD paramedics showed up to take over the patient's care. "Are you guys Emt's or something??" The LAFD captain asked. "Yes, we're LA County Firefighters, and the 2 men that were working on him are paramedics."

"Good Job Guys," a paramedic said. "He's just getting his breathing back and his pulse, so it looks good. Enjoy ur flight, just let us get your information for the report."

"Thanks Guys" Capt Stanley said as they watched their patient get wheeled away.

"Man, even our work follows us while on vacation." Johnny exclaimed.

Roy shook his head as they arrived at their gate and boarded their plane for Chicago.

As their plane took off, the men wondered what was to greet them upon their arrival to Greece.
