New Story: It’s Over!
By Anonymous

Editors side note: This story was done when we were having A LOT of confusion going on with the IA. Anon told me who she was, but it has been some time, and alas, age is a factor on my part. :o) It didn’t take me long to edit this and I enjoyed doing it, I hope you enjoy reading this.

Katy the IA Monitor

John Gage leaned over to Roy. "Exactly what is this meeting about?" Roy shrugged, shushing his partner. Chief McConnikee had called a meeting with Station 51. Hank and the Chief had been closeted in his office for several hours, and from what Chet was reporting back with, it didn’t sound good. When the door opened and the 2 Supervisors came out, Chet scurried into the day room to let everyone know they were coming. As they stepped into the room, the men sat up attentively. Hank called the group to order. Chief McConnikee began his lecture.

"Men...I've been very disturbed by what's happening around this Station lately, and I feel the need to address you as a group." Everyone looked nervously at the other. Cap's brow was furrowed. The Chief continued. "Frankly, this station is turning into a regular soap opera...relatives coming and going... hanky panky in the captain's office.... More relatives, long lost friends.... I can't have this. First, we can't keep this all straight without a scorecard...and you men are just not rescuing anyone anymore! This has got to stop." Gage opened his mouth, but slammed it shut as Roy and Marco, both, elbowed him in the ribs. The chief sighed. "Also, it's getting really sloppy around here... I’ve got an invoice for "Helocoptors"...What the hell is a helocoptor? For God's sake...my ten-year-old grandson can spell Helicopter! Don't you guys own a dictionary? Or is that implausible to you?" They looked sheepishly at one another.

The chief stood up and placed his hat on his head. He looked at each man in turn.

"Look, I like you guys. You're one of my favorite stations. So let's shape up, okay? Let's leave the relatives at home and get back to rescues! Okay, fellas?" He smiled as they nodded. "Good, now I need to get over to station 110, they seem to be having some difficulties with their paragraphing." He turned and left the station.

Hank looked at the group. "I think we better start towing the line around here!" Everyone nodded. Cap pulled out the dictionary. "Now let’s all began to work on our spelling skills. We’ll work on grammar tomorrow." It looked like they had a lot of work to do.
