Welcome to our challenge page!

This is home to some creative ideas from our authors, fans, friends and family to challenge others out there who have an idea and the desire to see different approaches to it take place!

Below are our current ongoing challenges. Take a peek, see if one suits your imagination and go for it!

Challenge # 1

The challenge is to write a story which is a cross-over between one of the shows listed on our 70's side, and combining it with a show from the 80's side!

This can be done in any way you wish, whether the characters in the 70's show are retired and the 80's show characters assist in some way. This can be an alternate universe sort of story - the sky is the limit and you are bound by your own imagination!

Entries for challenge #1

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner [PG] - MacGyver and Gillian are grocery shopping when a chance meeting brings them new friends. This is an Emergency/MacGyver Crossover story. Nightmares, Friendship and Peace [PG-17] - Starskey and Hutch encounter Thomas Magnum in this Starsky and Hutch/Magnum P.I. crossover chanllenge entry.

Challenge # 2

Greetings to all Two Chickies fans! It is time for an end-of-summer challenge.

This will revolve around the CHiP's universe, where Internal Affairs suspects corruption and theft of evidence from CHP headquarters. An over-zealous IA investigator has John and Ponch each suspecting the other of being on the take. Your challenge, should you decide to accept it, is to have these two best friends explore their feelings about each other (with Ponch's past, this should be good), and see them work to find the truth. You must set up at least one good hurt/comfort situation. There will be no limits on the h/c, so be daring if you wish (if you ever wanted to write a good character death scene, now is your chance), but both John and Ponch must be vindicated in the end. Get your computers fired up, and let's see some action!

Challenge # 3

It is time for our end-of-summer challenge #3!!!

Once again, this is in the CHiP's universe. Many of the episodes never showed our guys using firearms. In this challenge, they will. During a call gone wrong, Ponch must accidentally wound John. Set up the story however you like, but let's not kill or permanently disable anyone. Ponch will have taken all of this very emotionally and he is perhaps even a bit....suicidal, and his other CHP family will have to help.

Challenge # 4

My goal is to write a crossover story between "E!" & "CHiPs" and it's where Johnny & Roy teaming up with Ponch & Jon to catch a female arsonist who has commited a series of deaths on all firemen so can they stop her before they become thir next target?

Challenge # 5

This CHiP's alternate universe story will contain Ponch & Jon protecting a lovely rock singer from her deranged ex-boyfriend who has killed her guitarist boyfriend, and now it's up to Ponch to catch the killer before it gets worse, Will Ponch get him in time?

Challenge # 6

This CHiP's A/U Story is where Ponch and Jon are teaming up with Starsky & Hutch to try to stop two psychotic gunmen and save the two female hostages during a possible 2-11 at a fast food restaurant. Will they survive that terrible ordeal?

Challenge #7

It is a Halloween challenge. For the challenge Roy's kids ( both are still young ) want whoever takes them trick-or-treating to also dress up in costumes. The writer will also decide what costume the adult ( s ) wear. Of course the writer will decide who takes them. It can be just Roy, or Roy & Johnny, or just Johnny, or one of the other four guys from A-shift, or all six guys from A-shift. Roy's daughter being as young as she is still watches Charlie Brown on tv every year and really believes in the great pumpkin. She gets them to go to a pumpkin patch after trick-or-treating to wait for the great pumpkin. It would be very funny if the chief and or other people that they know saw them!

I'm challenging any and all writers to write one or more stories about Roy or Hank being given a shopping list by his wife and going to the store with that list!!! Will he only get what is on the list or will he get extras like junk food!!! Also have her include on the list one or more items for a lady just to see what he will do and how he will act!!! LOL Happy writing!!!

Challenge #10

I'm challenging any and all writers to write one or more stories placing the guys in any international setting. This is your opportunity to travel with the guys to exotic and exciting locations! Be creative and let them experience new things and people. Imagine Chet meeting Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter in Australia? The stories can cover any format or genre - just have fun with them!

Challenge #11

Twochickies has a challenge to all writers! There has been some great feedback at a series that is posted under our Starsky and Hutch fiction section of the site, and now I'd like to see if the same can happen for E!

The challenge? To write about another POV (point of view) for an episode. The POV can be anyone's - Stoker as he watches the guys enter a burning building, Joanne while watching a rescue on the television, Dr. Brackett as he wonders what life is like in the field - anything goes!

Challenge #12

The engine crew made it back to the station by nine o'clock that night. "Might as well ruin one more person's evening." Captian Stanley mumbled, mostly to himself, as he crossed the threshold to his office. He left his door open - it felt wrong to close himself off from the rest of his crew. He dropped into the chair, but shoved it back from the desk, leaned his head against the cool brick wall, and shut his eyes.

It sounded like Chet was finally running out of steam. The banging noises coming from the locker room had diminished to a less jarring level. Marco had gone to the kitchen first to start some fresh coffee. Now they wait.

No - he still had to call in for a replacement engineer.

"Is Mike Stoker here?"

The young voice startled Captain Stanley. He scrubbed his hands over his face before focusing on the boy standing in his doorway. It was late for a kid to be out roaming the neighborhood alone. He said the only thing he could. "He's not here right now. I'm Captain Stanley, is there something I can do for you?"

His heart was pounding all the way here just to talk to Mike. What was he going to say to the captian? "I think..." Not another sound would squeak out. Great, I'm already shaking, figures my voice would crack too. He started again. "I think I know who started that fire."
