Besides being a tremendous fan of both Tom Selleck and Magnum P.I., Sherry Banks is a history aficionado. She was a history major in college, and a writing minor, and hopes one day to combine these two loves and become a published writer of historical novels. Like most aspiring writers, she works in the meantime at a job that pays the bills, and confines fiction writing to her free time. Being new to Fan Fiction, but not to the great shows of the 70's, Jane has just begun to write to 'test the waters' and for personal fulfillment. Jane has one daughter who is in love with all firefighters and fire stations, often insisting upon a tour whenever time permits! E51Writer is new to writing fanfic but has always had a passion for writing. She has recently combined her love of writing with her love for 'Starsky & Hutch' and 'Emergency!'. While her current job as a systems analyst/project manager pays the bills today, she is working very hard to trade in the computer career for a writing career. Having had her own motivational and fitness company a few years ago, she is hoping to become a published author of non-fiction works. Nancy Thysell - The Nifty Lady
Nancy currently resides outside Atlanta, Georgia. She got hooked on fire engines and firemen back in the early 70s when she worked next door to a fire station in her hometown of Chester, Virginia. Her firemen friends turned her on to "Emergency!" and when she moved to Los Angeles in 1974, she set a goal of meeting the cast. Fortunately in 1976, she was lucky enough to learn the show was filming on location in the Burbank area where she was working and living at the time. Taking a long lunch hour, Nancy rushed to the location. There she got to meet most of the guys during the filming of "Insanity Epidemic." Inspired by the show, Nancy and a friend began collaborating on some script ideas but the show ended it's run. They then set their sights on another show, a new one called "Starsky and Hutch." Before long, they had written "Having A Wonderful Time" for the show and submitted to the producers. But unfortunately, because the material was unsolicited, it was rejected. With "Emergency!" being canceled, all those story ideas went to the back burner until about 2-1/2 years ago when Nancy discovered "E!" on TV-Land and then the world of fan fiction. A short 6 months later she started writing E! stories and hasn't stopped since. Many of Nancy's E! stories are located here on Two Chickies. She opened her own webpage this past February to have a permanent home for all her stories. Check them out here.
These days, Nancy makes her living preparing materials for publication and writes in her spare time. In addition to her E! stories, she has written poetry, song lyrics, and is working on a novel (if she ever takes time away from her E! stories). Born in Toronto, Canada, Irene Markoja was first introduced to Emergency! during its very first season. Her parents watched the program from its very first episode for many reasons, one of them because they were huge fans of the 1968-1975 NBC series Adam-12. Soon, little Irene became hooked on Emergency! herself - and developed huge crushes on both Johnny Gage and Roy DeSoto! She eventually chose Roy.
Irene Markoja still ranks Emergency! among her favorite all-time series. (The others are All in the Family, Mary Tyler Moore, Miami Vice, and 60 Minutes.) She lives in Guelph, Ontario with her two Manx kitties, Teddy and Bear. Irene's life goal is to become an anchor for CNN or another American all-news network. However, her broadcasting dream is on hold for personal reasons. She continues working in her second job as maintenance manager for a Burlington, Ontario company.

I've been writing fan fiction for almost six years now, I've done Dukes of Hazzard and Doctor Quinn and I am so PROUD to add Emergency! to that list. I have loved the show since I was a little girl and I have always admired and respected firemen and paramedics. I decided to start writing E! fan fiction because the show was downright VAGUE about the characters and that left the door open for all KINDS of possibilities! I transplanted Min from the Dukes of Hazzard fan fiction world to the E! world and I am happy to report that the transition has been VERY SUCCESSFUL! I want to thank everyone that has been there for me when I needed an idea, or a helping hand, especially my sister Krista. She is a fellow writer too and if it wasn't for her help I could never have gotten through that first story. Thank you Sissy, your help is very valuable to me! :) I also want to thank Jill Douglas-Hand for posting the stories, you have given me some GREAT ideas too. I live in Burlington Ontario and work as a graphic designer in Toronto. I write Rat Patrol, Starsky and Hutch and Bonanza fan fic. The TV shows of the 60's and 70's shaped part of my personality. I love television and I'm not afraid to admit it.
I write just to keep my favourite characters alive for me and for the sheer joy of writing and expressing the stories that linger in the deep chasms of my recessed brain. I learn alot from writing. I share my life with a dog, three cats and a horse and my treasured family and friends. I have no aspirations to become a professional writer. I still want to be a cowgirl when I grow up.

I've been writing fanfiction for about 24 years off and on. Most of it was for myself, since my favorite shows rarely told the stories I most wanted to read. I believe my first fan stories centered on Starsky and Hutch, written in longhand in a notebook I carried to classes in high school. I wrote about Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Dr Who, and far too many others to remember now, going through fandoms like other people go through socks! I dropped it for a while, then caught MacGyver and Magnum PI fever through the 80s and came back to it with a new enthusiasm once I realized there were other fans and writers out there on the Internet.
I tend to write stories with a romantic or erotic nature to them--not everyone's cup of tea--but it makes me happy to explore the side of characters that may only be hinted at on the aired shows. I think I've gotten better at writing as the years go by, and I certainly love the craft now more than ever. I love feedback, I try to answer each and every note, and I'm grateful for this site, which allows me a chance to share my version of MacGyver with others.

Hi, my name is Cynthia. I'm 37 yrs old, but I'm 32 by my own standards. I'm married with three kids and my oldest is expecting and no one had better say the G word 'cause I don't buy it. I love Starsky and Hutch. I've loved them since I first saw them. I didnt have many friends and it was because I used their friendship as a guideline for what I wanted as a friend. It's okay by me, because I now have what I feel is a sense of friendship with many people I have met that have felt what I have when it comes to these guys. I wrote my first fanfic when I was in Jr. High. I have loved writing my entire life. When I learned howto put the words together and make a story I was hooked. I do it out of the sheer enjoyment and feeling what the characters are going through. Everytime I write a story, I always hope I do just a little bit of justice to what makes these character so special and meaningful to me. I love the feedback I've gotten and I try to answer them as much as possible. I want to thank the people who maintain this sight. Jan aka Gagesgirl is relatively new to fanfiction although she has enjoyed writing stores since she was very young. She has a Communications Management degree which helped fuel her love of writing even more. She began writing Emergency! fanfiction about 2 years ago. She has been a fan of E! since the very first show and has a special fondness for the character of Johnny Gage.
In real life, she works as a full-time paid EMT for a private ambulance company in SW Pennsylvania. Jan has also been a volunteer firefighter for 10 years and is her department's Rescue Captain. She is married to a 911 Telecommunications Operator and shares her home presently with 4 Border Collies, including the youngest Gage. DeSoto will be joining the family early next year.
In her spare time, Jan enjoys reading other author's fanfics as well as reading just about everything else too. Jan writes on 3 very active and popular RPGs as well. I currently work as an office manager for a three physician practice full time and as a paramedic part time, and have been a volunteer firefighter also. Hello I’m Amye, and yes that’s how it’s spelled. I’m in my late 30’s, married with two teenagers who passed on her love of Starsky & Hutch to her daughter. I had been a fanfic reader for years before trying my hand. I’ve always written, but usually only historical essays and theories. My name is Donna Louise Dodson. I am 37. I am attending college part time, studying to be an EMT. I work full time at Hillcrest Country Club in Kansas City, MO.
I started writing fiction stories after reading the stories on the Web written by Jackie Clouse and Nancy Thysell. I had always watched Emergency when it was on the air, so the stories immediately interested me. One of my college courses was on writing and I had to write various papers as a part of the two courses I was taking at Longview College. Writing the fiction stories helped me expand on what I was studying; and helped me to add my ideas to the Web stories.
I enjoy the Web stories posted by all the writers. It is always good to read someone else's stories and ideas.
Let's face it; I am hooked just like the other writers. We want to keep Roy and John's stories on Emergency alive in our hearts.

Anyway I was skeptical, and plenty shy too, but after much coaxing from her I finally submitted it and through her criticism and encouragement I`ve become the author I am today. I live in a quiet upstate NY town right at the entrance of the Adirondack Mountains. I have been married for 18 years and have two beautiful girls.Ages 15 and 9. I use music to drive my writing. Any style anytime. I am a stay at home mom. I also love Vincent D`Onofrio of Law and Order Criminal Intent and Richard Belzar and Ice-T of Law and Order SVU. I have been writing short stories since I was in 6th grade (I'm 54 now) a real long time LOL. I have always used characters from my favorite television shows or movies. My first stories were about Stoney Burke. Does anyone remember that show? Then I wrote about the Mod squad, then about Starsky and Hutch. But now, all of my stories are about The Dukes of Hazzard which is my all time favorite show of all time. (I'd give anything to spend just a little while alone with Luke. LOL) since Luke is my favorite character, most of my stories involve Luke in some way or another. My stories are also posted at fanfiction.net (as sparkle 731) and on Hazzardnet.com. I love to write. It's all I do....(ask my grandkids when they want on the computer).
I am married and have 4 children. My oldest daughter and her husband are deceased. They were killed 5 years ago when their car was hit by a train at an unprotected railroad crossing. My three surviving children are one girl and 2 boys, (all over 21. My youngest is 30) I also have 7 grandchildren. My oldest is 16. I'd love to hear from anybody who reads my stories so I know what you think of them.
