Twas the night before Christmas and all through the station, no one was complainin -- not even Harlen.
Sergeant Getraer was in his office, with paper work up to there
And the officers of Central were patrolling the highways with care.
All the CHP officers were busy on their beats, riding on motors and cruising the streets.
Ponch had just finished writing a ticket, when all of a sudden, there came such a chatter, Jon and Ponch revved up their bikes to see what was the matter
When what to their wondering eyes they saw, a pick up truck with Santa, a sleigh with eight horses dressed as reindeer.
"Oh officers!" Santa exclaimed in a rush. "I was on the way to the childrens hospital when I had a flat and the sleigh gave up the ghost."
"That's no problem," Jon said with a grin, "I'll help you with the flat, while Ponch radios this in."
"7Mary4 to all available units, Santa needs help with his sleigh on the 420 Southbound."
Soon arrived Grossman, Bear, Bonnie, and Fritz and even Sgt. Getraer came to help out Saint Nick.
With a mighty push, it was over in a flash, the officers had righted the sleigh for his dash.
"There ya go, Santa," Ponch flashed his toothy smile. "Time to get back to the kids theyll miss you in a while!"
"Ho, ho, ho they heard as he pulled his load out of sight Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!"
